Olga Guillen holds a Masters in International Law from Sydney University and specialises in international and transnational criminal law, having previously worked for the United Nations investigating and prosecuting war crimes in Kosovo, Lebanon and the Former Yugoslavia.
Olga is a Certified International Investigator having studied at the Institute of International Criminal Investigations at the Hague. She holds a Certificate of Specialisation for Prosecutors from the Siracusa International Institute for Criminal Justice & Human Rights, with a specialist focus on Financial Crimes, Mutual Assistance on freezing and seizing assets and asset recovery, Extradition, execution of foreign sentences and recognition of foreign criminal judgments.
She has also received Certification from the UN Office of Drugs and Crime in Advanced Anti-Corruption Prevention.
Her international criminal law expertise includes war crimes, money laundering, child exploitation, cybercrime, international white collar and corporate crime, as well as complex transnational drug importations.
She is also a former Senior Federal and State Prosecutor with over 20 years experience in serious state and federal crimes including drug supply, murder, general assault and sexual assault, possession and dissemination of illegal pornographic material.
Olga’s significant high level legal experience and focus on global criminal law matters ensures that all matters with an international focus are handled with strategy and expertise. Olga is fluent in Spanish.
